Katapusan – ito ang word na natuto ko sa araw ng ito.
Siya ay sakto na word for the day at siya ay word of the day na malungkot.
Malungkot kasi tapos na yung buwan ng wika ko sa pagsubok ko sa pagaral, pagtuto at pagsalita in Filipino. At ito ako na hindi pa really marunong.
Most of the time, naghilo ako sa lahat ng terms at rules in grammar and the vocabulary words. You can see naman in the episodes na kahit I’ve been beaten by students half my age nagpilit ako na matuto. I have a few new words under my belt but nothing impressive (as you saw with Maggie) and kahit hiya ako to admit, hirap pa din ako sa ating National Anthem.
I had fun learning. I am very thankful towards Yabang Pinoy. I am very thankful that I was given the chance to learn my country’s language. I am thankful for the support DREAM FM, Inquirer, Philippine Star, Manila Times and RX 93.1 has given.Most of all, I am eternally grateful for all the support that all of you who read my blog and comment on my videos have given na kahit mas lagi akong mali sa attempts, nagcheer pa din kayo sa buong month na ito. I really appreciate yung lahat ng tulong at suggestions na bigay sa akin at sa project ko.
And I am sorry that I failed. As I said, I improved. Pero alam ko hindi ito ang pinakamagandang level na Filipino na kaya ko na. Mas kaya ko sana pa kaso katapusan na ng Buwan ng Wika dito. I learned a lot but my main take away? MAHIRAP ang matuto na Filipino na maganda ng isang buwan!
One month is just not enough! And you guys know I put in the effort but hindi siya nagresult sa ako na matuto ng lahat at magaling.
So even na wala ng blog, wala ng camera, wala ng webisode…tuloy ko mag-isa na little by little na matuto. Hindi pa katapusan ng pag-tuto ko. At sana hindi din dito katapusan ang pagsuporta natin lahat sa ating sariling wika kahit tapos na ang Buwan ng Wika.
It is, after all, our national language. And giving due respect and honor to it should not be confined to 31 days.

Aral ako na nag aral at nag-aral at aral pa. May improvement ba ako? Sabi ako nila na subok ko ang tutunan ko for the last webisode.
At ito siya na. How did I do?
Nahirap ako dito. Actually, I felt so much pressure. Because 1, of all the challenges na igawa nila sa akin, yung challenge pa na babae na maganda ang kasama. It’s not easy to be suave with a dila hindi pa okay.
And 2, This is my last webisode. This is my last shot at determining if I’ve made some progress. The time pressure is really getting to me.
Ngayon “pagbigkas” ang turo sakin nila sa office. So bigay nila ako ng tongue twister. I thought it was impossible to do! So they pulled in another struggling-with-Tagalog officemate, Patti, to prove to me it can be done.
Watch as we face-off. ANG HIRAP KASI ITO NA GINAGAWA NIYO SAKIN! I don’t know dudes. Am I getting better?
Tatlong araw na lang ako before tapos na ang Buwan ng Wika kaya dapat lagi akong tuto. My office mates have been throwing exercises at me left and right. Ako ay try ng sobra. I’m going to post some of the things I’ve been doing to learn. Alam mo ba kung pasa o bagsak? Tell me!
Ito ang two na video na una ko na cramming sessions. Salamat kay Cez who gave me a gift plus a chance to practice.
Ngayon umaga, pag-pasok ko sa work, narinig ko outside yung favorite ko na vendor. Si manong taho. Bili ako sa kanya ng one cup. Review ko ang produkto na benta niya.
Bibigyan ko taho ng 4 out of 5 in rating. Masarap kasi ang mixture ng tokwa and arnival. Hindi siya too sweet. Tama lang for my taste. Maganda din yung quality ng sago pearls. Hindi matigas na sobra. Hindi rin malambot na sobra. For me, it’s just right.
OK din price na taho dito. Very affordable. Sa sampo na piso, satisfied ka na sa umaga! Ayaw ko lang nakalagay yung taho sa plastic cups. Di maganda. If I could provide all vendors with better cups, I would.
Nakakainis lang wala nag-libre sa akin. They asked me to review it pero hindi sila bigay sa akin ng prize. Kuripot ang mga officemates ko.
Ganda ng araw ko kasi nag-start siya na meron akong gift from mga kaibigan ko sa Yabang Pinoy.
Para ako ay mag-encourage na matuto pa at mag-practice pa at para to thank me for my efforts, Maricris, Mica and their other team mates ay nagdala sa akin ng apple pies. Sila ay bigay ng dalawang box.
Ang sarap ng mga apple pie. SIla ay malambot, masarap ang feeling sa bibig at hindi sila too sweet. It made me and my officemate Acid na mag gusto bumili ng vanilla ice cream para yung pie ay gawa na ala mode.
